Participation Policies
By registering for the class or event, I acknowledge that I have read these and agree to the conditions.
SUMMER CAMP REFUND POLICY
Hazelmade requires a minimum registration of 3 artists to run each event. Should the minimum requirement not be met, campers will be offered other event to join or given a full refund.
Refunds minus a $50 fee will be given up to 10 days before the start of the program. Because we cap our class sizes to ensure quality instruction, ABSOLUTELY NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN AFTER THAT TIME.
ATTIRE POLICY
We encourage campers to dress for mess and expect a mess. We really are never positive that art supplies will come out of clothing, so wear clothes you don’t mind staining, just in case! Smocks or aprons from home can be a good idea. For health reasons, Hazelmade does not provide smocks or aprons.
FOOD POLICY
Campers should bring a water bottle labeled with their name on it everyday. Parents are responsible for alerting Hazelmade staff of any food allergies or medical conditions. ANY FOOD CONTAINING NUTS OR NUT INGREDIENTS OR MANUFACTURED IN A FACILITY THAT HANDLES NUTS ARE STRICTLY PROHIBITED. Hazelmade will supply a small snack each day that also follows these guidelines, but should you want to bring one from home, please comply. Although Hazelmade takes every precaution to minimize the risk of food-related allergic reactions during camps, Hazelmade does not in any way ensure that the risk of food-related allergic reactions are completely mitigated, nor does it assume liability for any food-related allergic reactions. Children who are prescribed an epi-pen, inhaler, or diabetic monitor are required to carry it with them at all times while on the premises. Parents/Guardians assume full responsibility for their medical conditions to include child’s allergies. All parents must have an emergency contact on file for all children who participate in activities at Hazelmade. Permission forms are good for 1 year from the date signed.
PERSONAL BELONGINGS POLICY
Hazelmade Art Studio is not responsible and are held harmless for damage or loss of money, jewelry, equipment, clothing or personal articles. DO NOT SEND VALUABLES TO HAZELMADE ART STUDIO! Should your child bring valuable items, it is at your/the child’s own risk.
PHOTO POLICY
Hazelmade Artists are our best ambassadors and we often photograph and/or video artists and/or their artwork during camp or parties for promotional purposes without compensation. These images may be used for marketing and public relations in various settings including, but not limited to: Facebook, Instagram, Hazelmade Art Studio website, flyers, posters, and/or other promotional materials. At no point will a child’s name be used on Hazelmade advertisements/promotions without permission from the child's parent/guardian. Should you decide you do not want your child to be photographed for any reason whatsoever, please alert Hazelmade to this decision in writing prior to the start of camp/party.
BEHAVIOR POLICY
Hazelmade Art Studio reserves the right to require parents/guardians to withdraw a child from camp for disruptive behavior at any time.
COVID-19 PRECAUTIONS
No child will be allowed at camp if they are experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19, have traveled internationally or to a high-risk COVID area in the last 14 days, is currently quarantined due to COVID-19, or has been recently exposed to someone with a suspected or confirmed case of COVID-19.
